Welcome to the 2010 ANZELA Conference

David FordIt is a delight to encourage you to join us in Sydney in spring for the Annual Conference of the Australia and New Zealand Education Law Association.  If the burden of regulation is weighing you down, come to Sydney and allow the sparkling waters of our harbour to lighten your load.  The Conference Committee under the very capable leadership of Joanne Worrad have assembled an impressive program with distinguished speakers including Bruce Barbour, the NSW Ombudsman, and Justice Monika Schmidt of the Supreme Court of NSW, and Bob Lipscombe. As usual at these conferences, there will be many overseas speakers representing the USA, New Zealand and Malaysia.

ANZELA conferences provide not only the best learning experiences in Australia for those keen to catch up on education law developments but also good fun and friendship opportunities. The cocktail party to open the conference at the Australian Museum will provide great opportunity to see old friends and meet new ones at an iconic Sydney venue. The conference dinner on the harbour’s edge will showcase our city and ensure you go home having had a splendid time.

Please read on to find all the details of what this conference has to offer and then complete your registration quickly. And invite your colleagues to join you!

I do look forward to seeing you there.

Warm regards,

David Ford
ANZELA NSW Chapter President
